Mahabharata may come on the big screen

Talking about what is Mukesh's dream project to bring 'Mahabharata' to the big screen, Mukesh says, “I am planning to make it in three parts, the production of which will begin next October. Sequels are common these days and I have already planned a sequel for this project. Mahabharat is such a big and epic saga that it is almost impossible to capture its essence in just three parts, let alone one film. I want to cast actors who will not overpower the characters and who will be completely committed to the project.”

What did the filmmaker say about 'Kannappa'?

Talking about casting stars like Akshay Kumar, Mohan Babu and Prabhas in 'Kannappa', Mukesh says, 'Working on this film was a learning experience for me. Despite achieving so much in their careers, these actors worked with dedication, humility and sincerity. Their enthusiasm and preparation was truly inspiring.'

What is the difference between TV and movies?

Having directed several television shows, Mukesh had no trouble moving into filmmaking. “For me, the difference between TV and films is mainly in the mindset. I often have ample time when setting up a TV show, which helps me maintain quality without any rush. This approach made the transition to films easier. I usually work for three to four months and then take a break,” he says.
