Malayalam actor Joju George, who played an important role in famous filmmaker Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan's film 'Thug Life', has suffered a leg injury during shooting. According to sources, Joju's left leg bone broke while performing a high-risk stunt sequence for this film. Reportedly, the stunt sequence involved a helicopter, due to which he got injured. The shooting was going on in Puducherry, but he has returned to Kochi after getting injured. According to the information, after coming to Kochi, Joju George was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was X-rayed. Doctors found that he had a fracture in his left leg, so plaster had to be applied. He has been advised to rest for the next few weeks.

Directed by Mani Ratnam, 'Thug Life' is a gangster action drama. He has written the screenplay along with Kamal Haasan, who also plays the lead role in the film. The cast also includes Silambarasan aka Simbu, Trisha, Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Nassar, Ashok Selvan and Pankaj Tripathi. The music will be by AR Rahman.
