What is the reason for the protests in PoK?
India on Friday said the protests being witnessed in several parts of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) are the 'natural outcome' of Pakistan's continued policy of systematic looting of resources from the area under 'forcible and illegal occupation' of Islamabad. ' Is. It also said that the entire Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh 'were, are and will always be an integral part of India.' Pakistan is facing a severe economic crisis and violent protests have erupted in PoK over rising prices of food, fuel and other essential commodities. Foreign Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said that we believe this is a natural consequence of Pakistan's continued policy of systematic plunder of resources from these areas which are under its forcible and illegal occupation. He said such exploitative policies deprive local people of their rights over their resources and their benefits.
