For a long time, fans were waiting for Junior NTR and Saif Ali Khan's Jugalbandi film 'Devra: Part 1'. On the lines of films made by director Koratala Siva with well-known South actors, 'Devra' is also full of good company, mother's passion, feeling of revenge, double role of father-son, charming songs and exciting action scenes. As if it has been decorated with spices, but the weak story ruins the story.

'Devra: Part 1' Movie Review
Director Koratala Siva spends a lot of time developing the story and characters. The first part of the film is spent in establishing the story. The script lacks tightness. Repetition is also visible in some scenes. It seems strange that the police team that came to find the terrorists gets lost in Devra's story. But the choreography of the action sequences of the film should be given full marks.
The stakes of the action give goosebumps. The clash between Jr NTR and Saif is exciting. Renowned cinematographer Rathnavelu creates an amazing cinematic experience with his artistry. The smuggling scenes and fight scenes in the sea are no entertaining scenes for the audience, but the VFX of the film is weak. The length of the film also bothers you and the story becomes predictable.
Talking about music, only one song 'Dheere Dheere' has become the topic of discussion. In the climax of the film, 'Why did Kattappa kill Baahubali?' An unanswered question has been left, the answer to which will be seen in Part-2.
Talking about acting, Junior NTR has worked hard in the double role. He appears to be as strong as Devra, a brave protector and possessing leadership qualities, but Devra appears to be overshadowed by the innocent and timid character of Vara. Saif Ali Khan as Bhaira has proved to be strong in the negative role, but his role has not been developed properly.
Despite being the heroine of the film, Janhvi Kapoor got very little screen space. She is limited to just one song and a few scenes, but she has added colors to the glamor and romance section. Prakash Raj has done a memorable job as always. Murali Sharma remains memorable in his character. Zarina Wahab is impressive in the role of the mother. Srikanth has done a good job in the role of Raiappa.
Why watch- Fans of Jr NTR and lovers of action films can watch this film.
