Yellow alert for rain in Delhi

The spell of rain continues in the capital Delhi. The weather has been pleasant for the last few days. After the rain this morning, heavy traffic jams were seen at many places. Meteorological Department officials said that six millimetres of rain was recorded in Delhi during the 24 hours till 8:30 am. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for tomorrow and has predicted cloudy weather with moderate rain. Pollution has also decreased in Delhi after the rain.

Heavy rain predicted in Uttar Pradesh, red and orange alert issued

Heavy rain has been predicted in the next 48 hours by issuing 'Red' and 'Orange' alerts for many districts of Uttar Pradesh. Mathura and Agra have been put on 'Red Alert'. Apart from this, 'Orange' alert has been issued for more than a dozen other districts of the state. Red alert will remain for Mathura and Agra till Thursday. Apart from this, red alert has also been issued for Farrukhabad, Bijnor, Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly and Shahjahanpur for Thursday and Friday.

Rain will continue in Rajasthan for the next few days

The Meteorological Department has predicted that heavy and very heavy rains will continue in many areas of Rajasthan for the next few days. According to the Meteorological Center Jaipur, a low pressure area has again turned into a depression today and is currently over northeastern Madhya Pradesh and is very likely to move in a northwest direction towards western Uttar Pradesh in the next 24 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, monsoon is likely to remain active in most parts of eastern Rajasthan for the next 3-4 days and moderate to heavy rains are likely. Similarly, heavy and very heavy rains are likely to continue at some places in Bharatpur, Jaipur, Kota and Ajmer divisions on September 12-13.
