Malayalam actor Vinayakan misbehaved with airport staff, accused of creating ruckus while drunk


Malayalam film actor Vinayakan was arrested on Saturday evening i.e. 7 September. It was reported that the actor was allegedly creating a ruckus in a drunken state at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad. After which the police came into action mode and arrested the actor at around 6 pm. Inspector K Balaraju of RGI Airport Police Station has given information about the case. The CISF inspector said that Vinayakan had come from Kochi by Indigo flight and had to go to Goa. The actor misbehaved with the airport gate staff. He also told that he was in a drunken state. According to news agency ANI, Balaraju said, 'The actor was drunk and he created a lot of ruckus in that condition. After which a case was registered immediately.'

Case filed against Vinayakan

Vinayakan was then handed over to the RGI Airport Police and a case was registered against him under the City Police Act. Let us tell you that last year in 2023 also the Malayalam actor was arrested for obstructing the work of a police officer and threatening and abusing in an inebriated state. The actor had allegedly created a ruckus at the Ernakulam Town North Police Station, where the police had called him in connection with a dispute with his wife at his apartment.

Vinayakan had commented on the former CM

Vinayakan was booked under sections 118 (A) and 117 (E) of the Kerala Police Act. He was later released on bail after a medical examination. The police had said that the actor had created a similar ruckus at the police station earlier as well. Apart from this, Vinayakan was earlier in controversies for using abusive words against former Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and making comments during the MeToo movement.
