Many of our friends and their family members were illegally arrested in Quetta yesterday and last night,” he said in a post on X.

He said, “Tonight our friends who were busy chalking walls and distributing pamphlets in Lyari, Karachi were forcibly disappeared by the DSP of Kalakot Police Station. Now they claim that intelligence agencies have picked up three of our youth. We will not succumb to such pressure.”

Furthermore, Mehrang stressed that the Baloch people will continue their peaceful resistance against the exploitation of their natural resources and the Baloch genocide. He said, “Such pressure tactics will no longer be able to stop our struggle.”

Baloch Yakjehti Committee also resorted to X and exposed the names of three people who were forcibly disappeared by the DSP.

He said, “Today, three activists of Baloch Solidarity Committee, Shahdad Baloch, Saddam Baloch and Basit Baloch were illegally arrested by DSP Kalakot when they were writing chalk on walls in Naulin Karachi and distributing pamphlets about Baloch Raji Machi.”

He said that later those three youths were handed over to the intelligence agencies.

He said, “After taking the three Baloch youths to the police station, they have been handed over to the intelligence agencies and they are not present in the police station at present.”

Later, another worker of BYC Karachi Zone was also picked up from his house.

“Few hours ago, another activist of BYC Karachi Zone, Abdul Rehman Shahmeer Baloch was also picked up from his home by security forces,” BYC posted on X.

The committee said, “We want to tell the state in clear and unambiguous terms that it is impossible to end this mass movement of Baloch Solidarity Committee through force.”

It said, “By using force, the state is provoking the Baloch people, after which the entire responsibility for the public's response will fall on the state.”

Earlier on Monday, while appealing to the Baloch nation, Baloch rights activist Maharang Baloch called upon the Baloch community to unite and show their solidarity at the upcoming Baloch Raji Muchi (Baloch National Assembly) to be held in Gwadar on July 28.

On social media platform X, Mehrang Baloch highlighted the grave hardships faced by thousands of Baloch youth and elders who have suffered mental and physical torture for years in Pakistani military custody.

Emphasizing the importance of the Baloch National Conference, Maharang Baloch said that the event is more than a political process; it is a poignant expression of Balochism and human suffering.
